Gallura aside from its coast and the wonderful sea is famous for its local dishes.
In many agritourisms in the area (some located in very beautiful natural areas) is possible to taste local products like: Ravioli with Ricotta, Durum wheat Gnocchetti, Gallurese soup, porcetto (small pig cooked with myrtle), capretto (goat), agnello (lamb), diary products, cheese and sausages.
In addition is possible to taste the local wines, produced by various Gallura's wineries including two of Arzachena. This wines have won international awards, like the "Vermentino Superiore Docg" which goes well with fish; other traditional wines are Moscato and Nebbiolo.
Its possible to visit these wine cellars and taste these wonderful wines.
